Road to riches, episode 3

how are you doing today ?

That by the way….is the cover of a book of mine which I wrote in dutch

and have translated into english recently…it’s my newest publication

The dutch edition has sold some copies at www.Kobo.com

I think I am still tired from last year…Is that possible

I went out selling every week of the year, that’s sales 52 weeks in 2020

It takes time and effort from me…

Then I also wrote about 10 books in that year

and I wrote some short stories here at medium, and ofcourse I ‘’social shared’’ every new book of mine….

That all takes effort from me….the last week of 2020 and the first week of 2021 I didn’t do much …I was tired, but I still went out a few times and made some door to door sales.

I also made about 3 websites, the www.hajro.eu website of my company

I couldn’t pay on time and it went offline.

Then I made a new one, which is www.hajro.be

The www.jasminhajro.nl author website I haven’t been able to pay on time

and it also went offline, so I made a new author website

which is www.jasminhajro6.webnode.nl and which is free, works and is always online.

Then I was a bit shocked by the lockdown, I thought that I couldn’t go selling door to door for 3 weeks….

Ans I wrote a flyer and had it printed nd delivered, I thought I could at least do some marketing for my business and books, by delivering flyers to peoples mailboxes.

And I made an online store, I thought people could go there after they read the flyer and order some greetingcards, to keep in touch with other people

now that we almost don’t visit others……

Haven’t got any orders yet…………………………………………..

company Hajro offers there about 100 different greetingcards, about 10 different giftmugs, some T shirts and my 45 + books.

Then I had thought to my self, if I had an essential product, my business could remain open and I could go on selling door to door.

So in the beginning of the lockdown I briefly sold loafs of bread

and then switched to bottles of carbon water.

They have prolonged the lockdown till 9th february 2021……….

Yesterday I sold 5 bottles of water and along with it 5 packages of greetingcards, today just 1 .

Maybe I should rest more.

I have joined Small Business Owners, a group at Facebook.

Maybe I could spend some time with likeminded people

and learn and grow.

Perhaps selling essential products along with my greetingcards

is my lockdown survival guide

and hopefully it can inspire and help some other people.

I am still strugglin with getting up early and I ran out of medicine,

can pick the new ones up somewhere in february it seems….

But as you can see, I keep up the faith and still go out selling door to door, late or not….

I did it in the snow, I did it in the rain, and all those other days, I just did it anyway…..
